All Members and their Guests at the Outer Circle Club (the Club) are expected to comply with these general guidelines while at the Club premises which is constituted in this Code of Conduct.
There is no tobacco, e-cigarette or vapcig use of any kind permitted in any part of the facility. Smoking is permitted outside the front door but no closer than 30 feet from the front door. No receptacles are provided for cigarette butts so smokers must properly dispose of used cigarettes. Also, you are expected to be considerate of our neighbors and not smoke near their facilities.
All Members and their Guests are expected to be appropriately attired for such a facility. Accordingly, clothing should not be too revealing or tight so that others are triggered.
No illegal drugs, alcohol or pornography are permitted at any time under any circumstance. Any Member or their Guest found to possess any of these will be barred immediately from the Club with a loss of privileges.
The Club is not to be occupied overnight. No one has the authority to allow the Club as a temporary residence or shelter no matter how brief or the need.
To keep operating expenses at a minimum, each Member and their Guest is expected to keep the facility neat and tidy and to pick up after themselves. If you see something that needs to be cleaned or neatened, then do it yourself – do not assume someone else will do it.
If a refrigerator is available, it is for everyone’s use for short-term storage of food items. The refrigerator will be checked weekly and any item more than one week old will be disposed of.
Regular 7th Tradition meeting baskets help cover some of the Club’s operating costs; however, if you have a sponsor/sponsee meeting, speaker meeting or other event, a donation is greatly appreciated and can be left with a Club Officer.
The honor system is the rule at the Club. If you take something, please pay for it (e.g., coffee, reading materials, etc.). Theft is not tolerated and any Member or their Guest found stealing will be barred immediately from the Club with a loss of privileges.
Any boundary violation, whether physical, emotional, sexual or spiritual is not tolerated and can result in a Member or their Guest being barred immediately from the Club and their loss of privileges.
All Members and their Guests are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply could result in the suspension or termination of Club privileges which is at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.
