Attachment Theory Workshop for Couples and Singles
The workshop focuses on: Introduction to Attachment Theory; Types of wounds; How these wounds show up in relationships; Demo of a healing technique called Couple ‘Holding-time’; How singles can prepare for future relationships; How to attract healthier people into relationships with you; How to convert an insecure attachment into an ‘earned attachment’; and How to identify your triggers based on your attachment styles. The workshop will be part lecture, part experiential, and lots of Q & A.
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Presentation
How Attachment Problems show up in our Lives
The presentation focuses on: How these tendencies show up in our primary relationships; How these tendencies show up with our children; How these tendencies show up in the workplace; How these tendencies show up with our siblings; and How these tendencies show up with our friends.
About the Presenters
Bree Seger is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Rochester, MN. Her area of specialty is Attachment Theory applied to adults. Most of her clients are couples seeking an emotionally intimate relationship. Bree holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, San Francisco, CA. Bree received post-graduate training with Milan and Kay Yerkovich, authors of the book, “How We Love.” She will be presenting with her husband of 43 years, Mike Seger. Mike and Bree will share their attachment styles and the benefits and pitfalls each brings to his or her relationship.

The workshop is free to Members. For non-members, $35 if you RSVP; $45 at the door.
The presentation is free to Members. For non-members, $20 if you RSVP; $30 at the door.
